Road riders/commuters keen to develop their bike handling and riding skills.

Riders who want to develop finesse and fluidity into their mountain biking - safely and quickly.
·
Riders seeking the confidence and knowledge to ride trails

Mountain Bike Skills for the Enthusiast
Appropriate bicycles: mountain bike (with shocks).

Who is this program for?
·
Mountain bikers wishing to develop their skills further.
·
Riders keen to introduce themselves to more advanced techniques
·
Riders looking to get more out of their riding - in terms of speed, finesse, fluidity and bike handling.
·
Riders seeking to be less reliant on their equipment (e.g., suspension) and more reliant on their skill base.
·
Riders preparing for long distance mountain bike rides, such as, The Tasmanian Trail and rain forest riding (Borneo).

Advanced Mountain Bike Skill Programs
Appropriate bicycles: mountain bike (shocks or rigid)

These sessions are one on one (unless riders request
otherwise).
Who is this program for?

Riders wanting to develop specific techniques in key skill areas
·
Experienced riders dedicated to developing their riding skills and seeking different skill delivery programs to assist in their development.

Bike Beyond Road Riding Programs

Program 1: Foundation Skills.
Learn to ride a bike.

Appropriate bicycles: hybrid, flat bar road bike, mountain
bike.
Who is this program for?
·
People who want to learn to ride a bike (at any age).
·
People who want to feel confident to ride on bicycle lanes
·
People who want to experience the joy of riding
·
People who understand the benefit of support when taking on new projects
·
People who are keen to experience the adventure that is learning - where ever it takes them.

Program 2: Ride with Confidence
For riders wanting to develop their confidence through developing
their bike and balance skills at slow speed.

Appropriate bicycles: hybrid, flat bar road bike, road bikes,
mountain bike.
Who is this program for?
·
Cyclists who are fairly new to riding, and want to develop their skill base quickly
·
Cyclists who are commuting, and/or riding regularly, but
looking for new riding challenges, e.g., bike touring, regular
group riding, hill riding, developing specific skill bases for
riding with large numbers of other cyclists, e.g., Great VIC
bike ride.

Program 3: Ride Beyond Programs
Appropriate bicycles: road bikes, flat bar road bikes, hybrid,
mountain bike with slicks (lock out shocks).

Who is this program for? Cyclists:
·
wanting to develop the skills and confidence to ride hills
·
experience longer rides and/ or group ride regularly
·
get ready for different events
·
give themselves a good skill base for introducing club,
criterium and/or road racing to their riding programs.
